Опис вакансії

The International Charitable Foundation «Alliance for Public Health» is a leading non-governmental professional organization which makes a significant impact on the epidemics of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and other socially dangerous diseases in Ukraine.

PURPOSE: to provide effective management of Primary Health Unit that implement Health Reform Support project. The Project Manager is responsible for implementation of Project’s day-to-day activities, including line management of project team staff and budget control.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant University degree (Public Health, Social Work, Medicine, Management etc.).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, particularly at the community and facility levels.
  • Experience in implementation programs focusing on providing health services, including key populations, in Ukraine.
  • Strategic planning, analytical, conflict resolution and organizational skill.• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare professionals, and community leaders
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Ukrainian.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; solid team player.
  • Strong report writing skills are required.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks independently and meet tough and multiple deadlines.
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, SPSS or other databases and Statistical Packages)
  • Ability to think clearly and precisely articulate is essential.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites within the region, as well as attend meetings and events as required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Resilience and composure under pressure, with the ability to maintain focus and drive in challenging situations.

DUTIES:

  • Establish and maintain close communication with representatives of local and rayon authorities;
  • Attend events related to the restoration and development of services at the Healthcare Facility (HCF) level
  • Analyze the effectiveness of events related to restoring and developing services at the HCF level.
  • Actively participate in working meetings with the Healthcare Reform Support (HRS) Project team
  • Coordinate the activities of staff members involved in the Resource Hub component.
  • Ensure effective teamwork and collaboration among team members.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of activities, meetings, and outcomes related to the Resource Hub component.
  • Prepare regular reports on progress, challenges, and recommendations for the project management team.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation as required by project protocols
  • Analyze Project effectiveness, suggest areas for development, identify potential risks and suggest proper actions for their solving to the Head of team (HOT);
  • Improve professional skills and develop personal abilities constantly to raise work efficiency while attending trainings, educational sessions, and self-improvement;
  • Identify potential risks and challenges to the successful implementation of the Resource Hub component.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks as they arise.
  • Proactively monitor and address any issues that may impact project outcomes.
  • Maintain close communication with the other Alliance teams;• Monitoring visits to the field sites;
  • Proactively support APH fund-raising activities for achieving its mission and strategic goals
  • Undertake other duties as required.
