Опис вакансії

We are looking for anaccountant for our client, an Estonian accounting company

Requirements:

  • Degree in accountancy or economics;
  • At least 2 years of certifiable experience working on accountancy duties;
  • Fluent in Russian and communication level of English. Other languages are greatly appreciated;
  • Good knowledge of email, Google Drive, Skype, and Office tools (Word, Google Docs, Excel,
  • etc…);
  • Capable of working under pressure during punctual situations (i.e: accountancy deadlines);
  • Attention to detail and passion for your job;
  • Technologically savvy and willing to learn new things and use new tools;

We expect you to:

  • Know how to work on a remote team. Communication is very important;
  • Be results-oriented. Our customers trust us to manage the accountancy and compliance of they’re companies while they focus on making their businesses grow. Each one of us is super important to making this work;
  • Be willing to learn new things. The e-Residency program is a business breakthrough, and avery technological one. The companies of our customers are new businesses living in the digital world (marketing, YouTubers, bloggers, drop-shipping e-commerces, developers, designers), digital nomads and global startups, so you will learn a lot of things about businesses, technology, etc;
  • Have attention to detail. We want people who are passionate about delivering quality work.
  • Have responsibility. As an accountant, you will be assigned some companies, and will be in charge of preparing and submitting the taxes, VAT, and compliance reports for these companies. It is important to do a good job to let our customers focus on their businesses, knowing that we take care of everything else.

What will you do:

The tasks are very easy, customer-support style:

  • Match invoices and bank movements for invoice reconciliation;
  • Process purchase invoices, sales invoices and bank statements from the customers;
  • Prepare VAT reports;
  • Prepare tax (TSD) reports;
  • Calculate taxes to be paid by customers;
  • Submit reports to the tax authorities;
  • Other tasks required to take care of the bookkeeping and tax compliance of the customer.

Work terms:

  • Work from home. Work schedule 8 hours a day (full time), 40h a week. Preferably 9 to 18 with one hour to eat, but we offer flexible working hours, as long as you are available at least 2 hours in the range of 8am to 2pm (Central European Time);
  • Initial salary matching the average salary of your country. Yearly increments;
  • Probationary period 3 months;
  • Overtime. We try to prevent our team members from working overtime, but if required, it will happen only if the employee agrees, and will be paid separately or compensated with vacation days. Ideally, this situation will be an exception that would lead to increasing the hours of the contract or hiring a new member of the team. Having a team that works happily in a stress-free environment is important to us. We defend the right to reconcile work and family lives;
  • Paid holidays—18 working days plus the national holidays of your country (total holidays & leaves cannot be over 40 days in a calendar year);
  • Paid sick leaves;
  • Long-term commitment on our part, stable company that is scaling and growing fast;
  • Training and education in all the topics or knowledge areas relevant to your position;
  • (Optional — Future opportunity) work permit in Estonia after one year of working with us;
  • Employees may be required to obtain the e-Residency card of Estonia. They should be able to be granted the e-Residency (no criminal records, illegal activities or money-laundering activities). This is because e-Residency will be needed in the future for administration duties for our customers. The e-Residency fee will be paid by the company when applying for the candidate;
  • The employees should sign a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) about all the information from the customers because it’s sensible financial information.
