Our customer is a leading premium online video streaming service in the Nordics. The company offers the most popular TV series, a vast international movie catalogue, and a world-class selection of live sports events including Premier League, Champions League, and NHL.


The project belongs to the field of entertainment.

Our platform is a subscription and transactional video on demand service meaning that users can either purchase access to content through a monthly subscription or rent and buy movies.


  • You will together with the team play a central role in building advanced integrations between our different systems throughout the organization
  • Participate in technical meetings with cross-functional teams, product owners, and designers to design and ship new features and enhancements
  • You will be responsible for all stages of development from initial architecture to implementation
  • Build quality solutions to deliver the best experience possible to our users
  • Provide support for other developers with code review and mentoring. Implement best coding practices
  • Team player with dedication to unit testing, code review, and other quality-oriented practices
  • Results driven and able to complete tasks on time with little supervision
  • Enthusiasm for Agile software development


  • At least 1−2 years of work life experience developing web applications with PHP and JavaScript
  • Good knowledge and experience with PHP and PHP MVC Frameworks required
  • Good OOP and design patterns knowledge
  • Knowledge of MySQL or other SQL based databases with the ability to write and understand complex queries for normalized databases
  • JavaScript, HTML and CSS, as well as JavaScript Libraries (e.g. jQuery, Angular, React)

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with NodeJS
  • AWS: Elastic Beanstalk, SNS, RDS, S3, CloudFormation
  • Experience with Docker, CI (Jenkins)
