Job description

We are a dynamic and growing logistics company focused on providing exceptional service and support to our drivers and fleet operations. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Weekend Fleet Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our fleet remains operational, compliant, and efficient throughout the day.

Details:

  • Work Schedule:6 AM Saturday till 10 PM Sunday Chicago time (Full 2 working shifts, 40 hours in total).
  • Location: Remote, due to Chicago, IL, USA
  • English: Fluent
  • Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues reported by truck drivers and dispatchers during the day shift.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other technical problems related to the fleet.
  • Coordinate urgent repairs and roadside assistance by working with on-call technicians or external service providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in our maintenance management system.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies for vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to drivers and fleet operations as needed.
  • Support the Fleet Manager in day-to-day operational tasks and long-term planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Working knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian languages.
  • Minimum 1 year of verified experience as a Fleet Manager Assistant or in a similar fleet support role.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
