Job description

Currently, we are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This position fully remote. Write, we will be happy to chat!

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of software testing experience
  • Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, standards and practices
  • Experience with creating test documentation: test plans, test cases, check-lists, bug reports
  • Experience in web/mobile applications testing
  • Experience in API testing on a high level
  • Knowledge of Web applications, SQL & Scripting
  • Understanding and knowledge of Web Technologies/protocols (CSS, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, HTTP, SSL)
  • Experience with Bug Tracking Systems (Jira, etc.)
  • Experience using source control tools (e.g., GIT, Subversion).
  • Full QA Lifecycle, methodical and analytical approach to testing, attention to detail a must
  • Responsible, details oriented, independent and high-performance individual. Initiator, excellent learning abilities, great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of spoken and written English — Upper-Intermediate

Will be a Plus:

  • Experience Internet of Things (IoT) domain
  • Knowledge of any additional foreign language (except English) —

German/French/Spanish

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a strategy for quality coordination and testing
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
