Requirements:

Familiarity with computer systems, dispatch software, and communication tools.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
Clear verbal and written communication for coordinating with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
Quick thinking and adaptability to handle unexpected situations or changes in schedules.
Focus on providing excellent service to clients, addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
Understanding of local areas, routes, and traffic conditions to optimize dispatch decisions.
Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not always required.

Working Conditions:

Working from a home office or designated remote location with a stable internet connection.
Depending on the company’s needs, may involve shifts during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Interacting with other team members, drivers, and customers through virtual platforms.
Dealing with time-sensitive tasks, managing schedules, and responding to urgent requests.
Access to training materials, software tools, and ongoing support from supervisors or trainers.

Responsibilities:

Assigning moving jobs to available drivers based on factors like location, availability, and equipment requirements.
Planning efficient routes for drivers to minimize travel time and fuel costs while considering traffic and weather conditions.
Keeping in touch with drivers, providing updates, and addressing any issues or delays during moves.
Communicating with clients regarding scheduling, changes, and any inquiries they may have.
Maintaining accurate records of jobs, schedules, driver assignments, and client communications.
Resolving conflicts, handling complaints, and finding solutions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Suggesting improvements to processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.
