Middle Unity Developer (Multiplayer & Features)

Project: «Cars War» (Action/Shooter)

Role: Unity Generalist (Networking + Gameplay)

We are looking for a versatile Unity Developer to help us push the boundaries of our mobile action-shooter, «Cars War.» You will be responsible for moving our infrastructure to the Edgegap Matchmaker while building out the «juice» and core features that make our game fun.

🎯 WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Infrastructure Evolution: Own the migration from our custom master server to Edgegap Matchmaker and server orchestration.
• Multiplayer Logic: Maintain and expand our Mirror-based networking (vehicle sync, lag compensation, state synchronization).
• Gameplay Engineering: Build exciting new features—from weapon systems and car physics to custom abilities and power-ups.
• Backend Integration: Write Cloud Scripts (Azure Functions) to handle rewards, shops, and competitive seasons via PlayFab.
• Visual Polish: Work with VFX, Damage Numbers Pro, and FMOD to ensure every hit feels impactful and satisfying.

✅ QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of commercial Unity experience (shipped mobile titles preferred).
• Networking Pro: Deep understanding of Mirror (or similar engines) and the challenges of real-time synchronization.
• Infrastructure Savvy: Experience with Edgegap, AWS, or similar game hosting/orchestration services.
• C# Specialist: Strong knowledge of C#, including asynchronous programming and clean architecture.
• Gameplay Focused: You don’t just write code; you care about how the game feels to the player.
• Experience with PlayFab/Azure is a huge plus.
