Senior specialist of Sales support team (KKS)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer contact in the task area. In the context of preparing offers, economic risks must be checked and clarified.
  • Determine data for the offer calculation according to economic conditions and pass them on.
  • Initiate system-supported, automatic quotation costing.
  • Compare enquiry and offer, document and reconcile deviations.
  • Compare enquiry and quotation in cooperation with the Key Account Management. Document and coordinate deviations. Preparation of quotations.
  • Preparing and, in case of need, participating in sales negotiations.
  • Prepare offers, also for special solutions, taking into account known solutions, and arrange for costing after consultation with specialist departments and/ or technical field service. Initiate and monitor order processing. Preparation of sample offers.
  • Maintain contacts with domestic and foreign customers and coordinate internal interfaces.
  • Communicate negotiation results achieved with the OEMs to the 1st tier suppliers and implement them in the system (SAP).
  • Technical change management, prepare and send change documents to customers if necessary.
  • Follow up compliance with contract contents. Coordination, preparation and independent control of orders and contracts in regards of framework agreements with regard to contract contents (e.g. invoicing, terms of delivery and payment).
  • Achieve, control and internally document price agreements for series and spare parts.
  • Maintenance of article life cycles. Offer obsolete material to the customer and negotiate.
  • Initiate delivery discontinuation notifications.
  • Prepare and participate in price negotiations on an annual or ongoing basis.
  • Processing of customer debits and overdue customer receivables. According to the balance overview received for customer debits and overdue customer receivables according to a predefined scheme. After consultation with the Key Account Management, arrange for a delivery block if necessary.

Candidate requirements:

  • Higher education in Business or technical field;
  • Good business process knowledge and experience in automotive business (e.g. logistics) would be appreciated;
  • Detailed understanding of Sales processes;
  • Excellent skills in the MS suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project) is mandatory;
  • Good knowledge in SAP Systems (SD/APO/BW);
  • Business fluent English is essential -written and verbal communication skills. German is appreciated.
