Middle System Administrator

We are looking for a Middle System Administrator who will become a part of our talented team.

City: Cherkasy (only)

We are looking for:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in the same position
• Hands-on experience with physical networking, connecting the wires, configuring network equipment, switches, routers, and WiFi access points
• Understanding builds PC laptops and the ability to fix failures
• Installation, setup, and troubleshooting of MacOS, Linux (Ubuntu), and Windows OS
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems management (distributions, Apache/Nginx, firewall, SSH, network, Docker, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Bash/Shell
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD runners for iOS
• LAN: WAN, DNS, DHCP, IP, RDP, VLANS, VPNs — understanding and ability to setup
• Software support and troubleshooting
• Practical skills with Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Google Workspace)
• Hands-on experience with at least one monitoring system (Zabbix, Prometheus, Cloudwatch, etc.)
• Practical experience with at least one database management system (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
• Practical skills with System Virtualisation (Manage Proxmox / KVM, work with Docker)
• Hands-on experience with VCS (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.)

Will be a plus:

• Management and maintenance of servers running internal services (These are mostly hosted on AWS. Docker is used to run many of them)
• Management and maintenance of servers for clients (Mostly LAMP services. AWS/GCP/Others)
• IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
• Kubernetes — intermediate level
• CI/CD pipelines setup and support
• Hands-on experience with UniFi platform

Responsibilities:

• Users support, resolving incoming technical issues in a friendly and client-oriented way
• Support of different corporate programs and systems
• Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware
• Maintaining networks and network stuff
• Oversee installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of LAN hardware and software
• Setup, develop, and maintain video security stuff and network (Hikvision, Unifi protect)
• Support, troubleshoot and maintain Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GitLab, Google Workspace)
• Providing PC (MacOS, Linux) services including setup, configuration, repair, upgrade, and asset management (SnipeIT)
