    About the Role

We are looking for an Amazon Category Manager to manage, develop, and scale one or multiple product categories across Amazon EU marketplaces.

This role focuses on category performance, assortment strategy, and data-driven decision-making. You will own category-level insights and work closely with Product Research, Purchasing, PPC, and Marketing to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and portfolio optimization.

You will not be responsible for day-to-day operational tasks, but you will define priorities, direction, and strategy for your category.

    Key Responsibilities

    Category Ownership & Strategy

    • Own and manage assigned Amazon categories across EU marketplaces

    • Define category strategy, including assortment depth, pricing corridors, and positioning

    • Monitor and optimize category-level KPIs (revenue, margin, growth, competition)

    • Identify gaps, risks, and growth opportunities within the category

    Market & Performance Analysis

    • Analyze:

      • Market size, demand trends, and BSR development

      • Competitive landscape and market concentration

      • Pricing structures, FBA fees, and margin potential

    • Evaluate category health and maturity (entry barriers, saturation level)

    • Use insights to guide launch, expansion, or discontinuation decisions

    Assortment & Product Decisions

    • Decide which products:

      • Should be launched, optimized, bundled, or phased out

    • Translate category insights into clear product briefs and priorities

    • Define target price ranges, feature expectations, and differentiation goals

    • Review sourcing results (costs, MOQ, feasibility) together with Purchasing

    Cross-Team Coordination

    • Act as the central interface between:

      • Product Research

      • Purchasing & sourcing teams (China / EU)

      • Marketing & PPC

    • Align all stakeholders on category priorities and timelines

    • Ensure structured communication and clear ownership across teams

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain structured category documentation (Excel / Google Sheets)

    • Prepare category overviews and decision-ready summaries

    • Support management with data-backed recommendations

    Your Profile

    • 2+ years of experience as Amazon Category Manager, Product Manager, or similar role

    • Strong understanding of Amazon EU marketplaces and category mechanics

    • Solid knowledge of:

      • FBA fee structures

      • BSR & demand signals

      • Pricing and margin logic

    • Highly analytical, structured, and business-oriented mindset

    • Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets

    • Experience with tools such as Helium 10, Keepa, Jungle Scout

    • Confident working with cross-functional and international teams

    • Strong sense of ownership, prioritization, and decision-making

    What We Offer

    • Fully remote work with flexible workload

    • Clear category ownership and decision-making authority

    • Structured processes and realistic expectations

    • Direct influence on assortment and product portfolio strategy

    • Long-term collaboration with growth perspective

    • Competitive compensation based on experience
