To strengthen Electrolux presence in Eastern Europe Electrolux is set to acquire a factory in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. Electrolux bid has been accepted by the seller, the deal closing is expected in Q1 2011.
As of 1St April 2011 Ivano-Frankivsk factory will be fully operated by Electrolux and produce front load washing machines under Zanussi and Electrolux brands gradually increasing annual capacity up.
