Giving Bag is a globally recognized sustainability initiative helping hotels reduce waste and create local impact. Our company allows hotel guests to donate unwanted items—like clothing, shoes, or unused amenities—before check-out. We partner with hotels in over 15 countries and were recently honored with the 2025 Travel + Leisure Global Vision Award. We have big expansion plans in the next 12 months that you will help be a part of.
Giving Bag also has a marketing arm calledImpact Hotels—a curated platform that highlights the world’s most impact driven, forward thinking brands around the world. While Giving Bag works behind the scenes with hotel operations, Impact Hotels celebrates properties doing hospitality differently: with a commitment to eco-conscious practices, local culture, and meaningful travel experiences.
We streamline:
- Guest donations

- Lost & found storage and management
- Excess inventory disposal (robes, linens, unused toiletries)
By doing so, we help hotels reduce environmental impact and create a more meaningful guest experience.
