The Record Label is Dead – Long Live the Music Industry. Every now and again certain factors merge to create something truly exciting; in this case it's the combination of access to the emotion of the music industry, along with the possibilities that have come about as a result of the emergence and global acceptance of the internet. The level of unrest within the music sector is peaking in its search for a new way forward and how income is generated, also how that income is distributed and shared. As a result there is a great deal of media coverage around these dilemmas.
