Developed and owned backend services for a major EU tourism company, covering flight search,
availability, pricing, and ancillary options. This work was part of a broader initiative to break down
the Hybris monolith and migrate the platform to cloud microservices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implemented flight search API from scratch with multiple regional integrations and
provider-specific logic.
• Implemented multiple features in the options-processing flow, including traveller-dependent
logic that adjusts pricing and availability based on passenger details.
• Extended the flight order submission flow to support new flight options.
• Implemented caching for options availability endpoint to reduce latency.
• Implemented error-handling framework for microservices.
• Covered most critical business flows with contract and component tests
E-commerce lingerie platform, US | Freelance | Java Developer 10.2022 — 07.2023
Implemented various features for Checkout Transformation project for US underwear retailer
as part of BE team (5 people). Project was a part of bigger initiative to decompose the monolith
to microservices and move it to AWS cloud.
