ABOUT ME

I am a University Associate Professor (Ph.D.) at the Ivan Franko National University of
Lviv, Faculty of Foreign Languages. I have been working as a University teacher for 10
years already. I enjoy working with people by sharing and enriching my experience. I
specialize in teaching courses (developing and conducting lectures and seminars) on
Language Practice, Business English, Legal English, Media Literacy, Internet Linguistics,
and Pragmalinguistics English courses for future teachers and educators.

Facilitator of the ‘Learn to Discern (L2D)’ – Media Literacy Training organized by IREX with
the support of the United States Embassy in Ukraine and the British Embassy in Ukraine,
and in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (since October
2019).

IREX’s Learn to Discern approach helps people of all ages develop healthy habits for
engaging with information, online and offline.

Learn to Discern's curriculum builds communities' resilience to state-sponsored
disinformation, inoculates communities against public health misinformation, promotes
inclusive communities by empowering its members to recognize and reject divisive
narratives and hate speech, improves young people’s ability to navigate increasingly
polluted online spaces, and enables leaders to shape decisions based on facts and quality
information.

Facilitator of the "New Generation School Teachers” project (designed and implemented
jointly by the British Council in Ukraine, the GoGlobal initiative, and the Ministry of
Education and Science of Ukraine within УкраїнаSpeaking national campaign) (since July
2017).

The ''New Generation School Teacher" project was jointly initiated by the British Council
Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science Ukraine and launched in March 2013.
It was launched due to the latest changes and events in the field of education and society
in Ukraine and is aimed at:
◦ new secondary standards and curricula;
◦ the new law on higher education;
 ◦ public interest in raising the quality of foreign language teacher education;
◦ the need of pedagogical institutions for quality curricula, assessment, content, and
