My name is Olha, and I’m a junior UI/UX designer.
I completed a UI/UX design course at IT Step
Academy in Lviv. Since then, I’ve already worked on
the redesign of a landing page for a U.S.-based client.
This collaboration led to more work with the same
client — I designed an educational platform for their
main landing page. More recently, they launched a new
project, a landing page for a business advice bot, and
another educational platform to support it — so I was
entrusted with both of those as well.
Besides that, I’ve worked with a client from
Kazakhstan, designing two mobile applications: one
for food delivery and another for taxi services. He, too,
was satisfied with the results of our collaboration.
In summary, my commercial experience includes: A
landing page redesign, Creating a landing page from
scratch, Designing two educational websites,
Designing two mobile applications

A FEW KEY POINTS ABOUT ME:
Email: • I can confidently create a variety of websites.

• My English is good enough for verbal
communication, and even better in written form
— where I can take the time to think or use tools
if needed. I’m also eager and committed to
improving my language skills further.
• As for personal qualities, I’d highlight my
flexibility, stress resistance, strong drive for
improvement, openness to constructive criticism,
and professional communication skills — I’m
always ready to consider other points of view or
justify my own respectfully and clearly.
• Another advantage is my understanding of
internal business processes, as I’m currently
studying Finance, Banking, and Insurance at
university.
• I’m familiar with all essential UI/UX tools and
techniques, including audience analysis, user
personas, empathy maps, CJM, moodboards, UI
kits, information architecture, wireframing,
mobile design, landing pages, dashboards, CTA
principles, and more.
• I'm highly motivated to grow and develop in this
field.
• I’m very responsible and always meet deadlines.

Olha
Cover Letter – Olga Patskal
My name is Olha, and while I don’t want to repeat everything already mentioned in my
CV, I’d like to briefly highlight the most important things about me.
I completed my studies at the IT Step Academy in Lviv. At the time, I was still attending
university full-time, so I chose the most flexible option — working independently and taking
on projects when my schedule allowed. Now, however, I’m close to finishing my Bachelor’s
degree and have much more free time to dedicate myself fully to a job.
What inspires me most is creativity, understanding human behavior, psychology, and
finding effective solutions — which is why I’m passionate about pursuing a career in UI/UX
design.
My design skills include: mobile design, landing pages, website and e-commerce
design, dashboard design, redesign, audience analysis, user personas, empathy maps, CJMs,
moodboards, UI kits, information architecture, wireframing, CTAs, and more.
Like most professionals, I aim for both professional and financial growth. Ideally, I
would love to reach a salary of at least $1600. However, I fully understand that at the beginning
of my official career, it's natural to start lower — especially if there’s room for regular
performance reviews. What matters most to me is growth, teamwork, and becoming a valuable
part of the company. I’m highly motivated to improve my skills and strive to become one of
the best in the field.
Studying at Lviv Polytechnic has also shaped me to be resilient and resourceful. I often
found myself facing tasks I had no idea how to approach — but I learned how to find the
necessary information and figure things out on my own. The same applied to client projects:
even when I wasn’t completely sure how to implement something, I never turned away a task.
I always found a way to deliver, and my clients were happy with the results.
I’m a firm believer that there are no real obstacles — just challenges to overcome. I’m
not the type to give up easily; I’ll keep working until I find a solution. I suppose I have a bit
of a “high achiever” complex — which I consider a strength.
Since my university major is business-related, I also have a solid understanding of
business processes, including those in the banking, insurance, and financial sectors — which
is a plus when designing projects for those industries.
And finally, I’m a huge fan of psychology books — I've read many — so analyzing user
behavior comes naturally to me.
Thank you for considering my application. I’d love the opportunity to bring my skills,
passion, and determination to your team.
Warm regards,
Olha Patskal
