Over 15 years of experience working in international and local NGOs such as CPCD Ukraine, Help-Ukraine, CRS, ICMP, NRC, DRC,
HAYAT, ADRA Ukraine etc. on various humanitarian and emergency aid projects, development and cooperation programs in Bosnia
and Herzegovina, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Georgia/Abkhazia and Ukraine. Deep knowledge and experience of implementing rules and
regulations of donors such as USAID/BHA, Europe Aid, EU, ECHO, SDC, SIDA, DANIDA, Norwegian MFA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNSECO and
various embassies/ministries, local governments, oil companies and private donors.

From 2011 to 2014 I returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina to take care of my twin 12 year’s daughters since my ex-wife
died in a car accident.

Leading skilled and qualified M&E enumerators located in each project's target areas/communities including following:

 Responsible for all financial agreement and process with the selected enumerators.
 Responsible for any operational and logistics related tasks on the ground.
 Provide training for enumerators assigned for an implemented project.
 Lead and coordinate the field work and data collection on the ground- based on the methodology of each

Conducted seminars for the local staff on various themes like project cycles, Logical Framework Approach,
Reporting, policies, and handbooks including the following:
 Oversaw project schedules and evaluate progress toward important milestones,
 Produced quarterly and annual reports of both emergency and developments projects assigned,
 Identified new donors for diversifying portfolios including private companies and private foundations.
 Documented research findings and prepared polished reports highlighting results and potential improvement
strategies,

 Assisted with the documentation and dissemination of best practices from the country programs,

Danish Refugee Council, Azerbaijan, Country Director, 2010/2011

 Overall management of the DRC projects in Azerbaijan including management of two DRC’ offices in Baku and
Ahjabedi/Barda with overall responsibility for the management, programming and implementation of DRC’s
humanitarian operations (EU, UNHCR and STATOIL funded projects) as well as the overall organizational, financial
and administrative responsibility of the program in Azerbaijan. In addition, my responsibilities included the
following:
 Overall responsibility for management of the DRC’s offices (Baku and Ahdjabedi) in Azerbaijan, including the
overall financial budgeting and expenditures, staff management, administrative issues, logistics and other aspects
pertaining to the day-to-day running of DRC office and adhering to DRC rules and guidelines,
 Overall responsibility for the management, programming and implementation of DRC humanitarian operations in
Azerbaijan including development of staff capacity and capability,
 Project management of EU funded “Migration project” (Local Integration of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in
Azerbaijan – Strategies for Improving Lives in Displacement), STATOIL funded SMEs
 Management of the staff assigned to – PM Head of Ahjabedi office (expat), Finance Manager, Senior Support
Officer and Project Coordinators in the Baku office,
 Conducted various staff training of humanitarian aid teams on implementation, monitoring, best practices etc. as
per need.

DRC Georgia/Abkhazia, Head of Abkhazia Office/Program Manager, 2007/2010

Managed two DRC offices in Abkhazia (Gali and Sukhumi) and have had overall responsibility for DRC activities in
the Abkhazia region in collaboration with the Regional Representative and HQ in Copenhagen with the support of
the office security manager. In addition, I was:
 Responsible for the safety of the staff, and mission assets (warehouses, offices, vehicles, etc.). Monitored
humanitarian access restraints, security trends and relevant incidents in coordination with security officers from
UNOMIG (UN mission in Georgia),
 Closely coordinating between the support teams (finance /administration, information management and logistic),
the implementation teams and the project coordinators in order to timely and qualitatively guarantee that the
objectives and results of the projects are reached,
 Identifying issues, gaps and delays that may obstruct the correct implementation of the projects and proposes a
mitigation plan to the Regional Representative,
 Responsible for the capacity building and preparation of the individual development plan of the staff,
 Represented DRC towards the stakeholders (such as donors, local authorities, UN/UNHCR representatives, ECHO

 Provided leadership in administrative, financial and project management matters.
 Initiated, coordinated and oversaw the implementation of the field activities throughout the Republic Srpska,
BiH. Generated and maintained contacts with the international organizations (i.e. ICRC, OHR, UNHCR, SFOR etc.),
local authorities/communities, civic associations and government officials for ensuring effective and efficient
implementation of the project of identification of missing persons through DNA computer testing.
 Directly coordinated all activities related to active engagement of local NGOs created by missing persons’
families. Supervise five project staff employees. Undertake regular training of directly supervised colleagues.
