Developed a high-performance backend application based on FastAPI to track users’ workouts and progress.
Designed the data schema in MongoDB, using Beanie ODM to integrate Python object models with the document-oriented database.
Implemented the full CRUD cycle for managing user exercises and metrics, and ensured strict data typing and validation at the application level using Pydantic v2.
Containerised the project using Docker Compose, setting up automated deployment of the API and database stack in an isolated environment.
Implemented a testing framework using Pytest, achieving 95% code coverage.
