GBV Protection Officer

1. Identifying cases of GBV and providing comprehensive case management, including psychosocial support (PSS), cash assistance, dignity kits, and referrals to service providers as needed and available.

- Providing professional and confidential services to survivors of GBV based on a survivor-centred approach, following protocols, including the implementation of all stages of case management.

- Conducting a satisfaction survey of clients in case management.

- Support in identifying and selecting beneficiaries for dignity kits, as well as support in distribution.

- Create a comprehensive map of service providers in the Odesa region.

- Maintain coordination of service delivery by other specialised service providers in accordance with the needs of individuals and families.

- Support in identifying, evaluating and implementing cash assistance as an additional service to case management.

- Ensuring proper monitoring, review and follow-up of services provided to clients in case management.

2. Conducting psycho-educational sessions and psychosocial support sessions directly for survivors of GBV and visitors to the Safe Space.

- Preparing and conducting adapted, age-appropriate, comprehensive and systematic PSS sessions.

- Working with all age groups, especially adolescent girls.

3. Team management and supervision of partners.

- Providing periodic technical and managerial support to case workers.- Weekly planning meetings and bilateral meetings with team members.- Monitoring visits to partners.

- Supervision sessions on case management with case workers.

- Monthly monitoring of the list of GBV case management protocols, including documentation and storage, and proper implementation of case management stages.

4. Data management and reporting

- Regularly conducting surveys of beneficiaries regarding their level of satisfaction/feedback.

- Ensuring the constant dissemination of information among beneficiaries about various channels for feedback and complaints.

- Managing, registering and storing data, ensuring the confidentiality of the information collected and services provided.

- Reporting on Activity Info during the manager's absence.

- Preparing PR for procurement.

- Performing the duties of the manager during his absence.

5. Coordination and Networking

- Support networking through other service providers to ensure that survivors of violence receive compassionate support from the community and to encourage closer communication, cooperation and coordination between partners (in the areas of protection, health, legal and psychosocial support).

- Develop an outreach plan to reach the most vulnerable women and girls in Odesa and to strengthen the identification of survivors of GBV.

6. Administrative and logistical support

- Identify the necessary materials, logistical needs, consumables, services, equipment for activities, and prepare the necessary administrative documents to secure these items or services.
