For the last 2 years I worked on back-end part (architecture and development) of a big logistic project. I have brought it in production 6 months ago. The project makes delivery as simple as cake, since logistic between zones and in single zone is planned ahead and executed in time. With known {n} pickup points and {t} delivery points the best possible route is generated for courier, distance and fuel cost are calculated. 3d dimensional box is calculated for {n} different products in the box to figure out, if this specific vehicle and this specific courier can take it along with other boxes from point A to point B. Stack used: NestJs, GraphQl, Postgresql, Postgis.
