ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead all mechanical engineering and maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment
across Oil & Gas facilities.
Act as technical authority for gas compressors, engines, pumps, and mechanical packages.
Plan and execute major overhauls for Waukesha & Caterpillar engines and Ariel & Dresser-
Rand compressors, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
Supervise installation, alignment, commissioning, and start-up of Engine–Compressor–Cooler
packages.
Supervision of PM/CM of all mechanical. Preparation of the Maintenance Plan.
Prepare requests for Stock proposals.
Experience in Facilitating Root Cause Failure Analysis of Mechanical Equipment.
Good understanding of engineering drawings (P&ID, PFD, One Line Diagram, and Symbols).
Prepare and maintain all documentation as required by the company, including all internal
reporting.
MIE “maintenance, integration & execution” level 2.
BAPETCO BED-1 field Shutdown focal point.
Trainer for the SOW Shell program includes “Isolation, Task Risk assessment, Toolbox Talk,

EXPERIENCE

Worked in the Rotating Equipment Department. Head and carried out all responsibilities as
follows:

Provides direction and leadership to maintenance personnel, assigns work, and assures
workshop staff productivity. Reviews and prepares for routine shutdown and maintenance
requirements.
Follow up on daily maintenance activities.
Preparation and reporting of all maintenance activities.
Follow up on company maintenance plans and material stock levels.
Field yearly budget preparation/follow-up.
Coordinate repair and maintenance planning of the workshop activities to align and support
Production and Maintenance objectives.
Responsible for all aspects of safety and emergency response in the workshop, including safe
operation of equipment and routine checks and tests.
Initiating procurement of supplies and ensuring availability of spare parts by reviewing MIN-
MAX stock level to complete equipment maintenance, to ensure availability, and create a stock
proposal if required.
Responsible for preparing the scope of work, PTW, TBT, TRA & Req. certifications for all
Mechanical Activities.
Attend FAT for two new Genset (Model: P9394GSI) at GE Waukesha gas engines in Waukesha.
Attend FAT for two Gas Compressor Ariel KPK4 & Prime Mover Waukesha Gas Engine
L7044GS series 5 in CSI Company, @ TEXAS located in Midland, USA.
Have experience for PR-commissioning, Commissioning & Startup for power generation & Gas
Compressors.
Maintenance& operation & overhauling, and troubleshooting for the following equipment at
BAPETCO and WEPCO

ROTATING EQUIPMENT’S
WAUKSHA Gas Engine (L7042GSIU, L7044GSI S5& P9394GSI), CATERPILLAR, diesel engines
CAT 3406, 3412.3408, C18 etc.
Gas Compressors:
• Dresser Rand manufactures horizontal type, three stages double-acting four cylinders, capacity 90
mmft3/ days & 90 bar discharge pressure and drive electric motor. 1.85 MW.
• Ingersoll Rand (IR) manufactures horizontal type, two stages double acting two cylinders, capacity
1 mmft3/ days & 90 bar discharge pressure and drive electric motor.
• Thomason manufactures horizontal type, two stages double acting two cylinders and drive electric
motor.
• Ajax COOPER gas compressor Dpc-800.
• Ariel Gas Compressor KPK4 driven by Waukesha gas engine L7044GSI S5.
Air compressors:
• (Comp Air) capacity 300 ft3/ hr flow rate & 8 bar discharge pressure v- type, two stages,
• Ingersoll Rand (screw compressor MH45&37).
• Atlas COPCO GA 55.
Pumps:
• Centrifugal horizontal pumps, single stage. & Multi stage. Different pumps manufacturers
(Worthington, Goulds, Sulzer, Ruher... etc.).
• Positive displacement pumps (Texteem pump) repair and adjustment.
• WORTHINGTON CRUDE Oil and Fire Water Pumps.
• GRUNDFOS water well pump Installation.

Static equipment :
• Valves P.M. greasing, inspection, and overhaul & testing for different types of valves (ball, globe,
gate, butterfly, and check valves) and different sizes up to 30” 600# & 12” 1500# and valve
actuators.
• Dehydration unit, the job includes a reciprocating pump, a glycol tower, a surge drum, glycol
filters, and a three-phase separator.
• Dehydration unit, the job includes absorber towers (silica gel), gas heaters, regeneration coolers,
and a separator.
• Desalination units, old type is multi-stage flash, the job includes boiler, re- boiler (heat exchanger),
evaporation box, vacuum system, utilities pumps, and chemical system. Modern type is reverse
osmosis (R/O). The job includes a booster pump, a high-pressure pump, modules, backwash filters,
and a chemical package.
