Objective: a job related to the practical use and application of ancient languages - Latin and Ancient Greek: translation (from the ancient languages and vice versa), teaching, tutoring, science and education, etc.

2009 - till now – I have mastered Latin and Ancient Greek languages by myself from E. Chorny’s and S.Sobolevskiy’s textbooks: studied the full cycle of grammatical disciplines, lexical and phonetic features of ancient languages, peculiarities of the Ancient Greek dialects. I have mastered the skills of translation to ancient languages and acquired fundamental knowledge of ancient history, literature and mythology.

Job experience:
2011 – till now
•Based on acquired knowledge I have read and translated the works of the following classic authors:
Latin - Caesar, Cicero, Livy, Sallust, Varro, Ovid, Horace, Catullus, Phaedrus;
Ancient Greek – Aesop, Herodotus, Thucydides, Xenophon.
•I translated from Russian (Ukrainian) to Latin and Ancient Greek texts on the historical, cultural, and other topics on freelance basis.
•I composed small (up to 1 page) essays in Latin on the historical, cultural and philosophical topics.

Skills:
•Advanced user of PC (MS Office; e-mail, internet, AutoCAD, KOMPAS-3D, MathLab, MathCAD).
•Have skills of searching for scientific and educational information on the Internet, working with humanitarian and technical reference books.
•Experience of delivering reports at seminars and conferences, work with customers
•I speak literary language freely, being articulate both in written and oral forms, easily compose essays, articles on a given topic.
