•IMPORTATION into Ukraine works the following way: Ukrainian buyers have to prepare some 30% advance deposit and wire it to foreign sellers upon countersigning of sale-purchase consent. And 30% is just average. Sometimes 50% applies, sometimes 100% applies. Never below 10% applies. Since early 2000s, in my importation activity I carried out several big international contracts exactly under 30% advance before shipment and 70% balance after shipment. Mostly for automobiles, wholesale as well as individual. Kiev, Kharkov, Krivoy Rog, Kherson, Odessa, just to name a few destinations. And not just abstract writing of contracts (not to mention translating). Doing it all from A to Z, when foreign exporter is on my back and Ukrainian importer is on my back, both hammering me why this or that is incomplete or late. Nervous business itself, it completely blue up when Great Depression #2 begun. Trust me, in those major cities I knew Heads of Autosaloons starving and getting thin back in 2008-2009.

•EXPORTATION on the other hand, why cannot work in the same way? Why Ukrainian sellers have to rely on Letters of Credits and ship Goods out of ports being unpaid basically? Recently they shipped 300 live sheep out of port, got no money at buyer’s port and got only 100 live sheep back. Poor sheep have put their lives for Ukrainian people to start to think, at last. When Chinese wheelers-dealers drew out 70% completed “Varyag” and “Kiev” (turning them into flagships “Liaoning”), international awareness still didn’t arise here. Now 200 sheep actually died and I’d like to hope all compassion to foreign buyers also died. Since early 2010s, in my exportation activity I carried out dozens of original manufacturers’ contracts and also faced unfair behaviors on part of foreign buyers and foreign public in general. What’s their current buying trend? Metalbulletin.com or Asianmetal.com as striking examples – full of fake undervalued so-called analytic price levels. No, dear foreign buyers, no more analyses, quotations, comparisons. Your problems are not prices here: there’s PLENTY buyers like you here and they don’t disappear. So cash on the barrel – or look farther, dear. And guess who is next here? R.U.S… You think it’s R.O.S.I.N.A.? But no. Doctor Barbaro. Barbarian, translating from Italian.

•TRADING, as a matter of fact, doesn’t have to be external only or internal only. Nowadays virtual trading gains momentum similar to virtual reality. Indeed, why maintain office premise, office personnel, office cars if, investing wise, one can otherwise increase his capital. Double/triple seed capital in a matter of weeks/months. Risk is there but, if well-trained, no greater than fires, idiots or accidents. Well-trained means primarily trained long enough, like 10000hrs or like 5 years or like throughout years 2014-2019, to be precise. Now it figures why I become braver in the above export/import trading? Bravo bravissimo fortunatissimo, i.e. the answer is evident.

20000UAH/month home work, 30000UAH/month part-time work, 40000UAH full-time work. Not too competitive rates – compared to slaves, Aborigines or dead in the list of personnel. But don’t play dumb: you obviously don’t cook James Cook at your enterprise. You obviously set yourself more sophisticated tasks and stand for equitable and equivalent relations with foreign customers. In case you did stash Baton of Bamboo you better not let it in force, you better burn it and toss. Dollars, if in sufficient quantity, can buy you smart staff with intellect and ingenuity towards clients worldwide. But let me not digress now...
Whether you face obsessive import contracts, servile export contracts, low quality/quantity of both or whether you lose in optional foreign trade, maybe it is time for you to stop amateurism and hire real experts. Because if you can’t even see barbers’ profits in Italian opera, then what can you see among real foreigners? As for specifically this resume, inspired also by Uncle Sam (and as you know Uncle Sam does the best he can), the first month wage must be pre-paid!
