Alter Systems supplies, implements and maintains IFS Applications, a complex enterprise management system. IFS Applications has been developing for more than 20 years and is now tested in almost all industries. The system is used by more than 520 thousand people in thousands of enterprises of 2,200 companies in 54 countries.
I was directly involved in the formation of the new firm. From making presentations and preparing commercial proposals to project management of ERP system implementation. All operational processes of Alter Systems were set up (according to the IFS project management methodology). Conducted interviews and created project teams. Much attention was paid to the interaction with our European partner, as a result a young company has become a partner of IFS.
Project manager. IFS Applications implementation at Max-Well, Boryspil, Ukraine (08/2008 – 03/2009).
Implementation of an integrated management system for a pharmaceutical enterprise. The project implied the automation of the following business processes: production and procurement planning (OKP, RRP, CRP, MRP, material availability analysis, messages to the planner), procurement, production, quality control, warehouse accounting, sales, mutual settlements and invoicing, budget management, cost calculation, cash flow analysis, receivables management, document flow.
The implementation is not completed. The first two stages of the implementation project according to the IFS Implementation Methodology have been completed. The beginning of the financial crisis forced the investor to freeze almost all projects, among which was the project for the implementation of the enterprise management system.
Project manager. IFS Applications implementation at Cersanit, Novograd-Volynskiy, Ukraine (04/2008 – 02/2009)
A joint project with IFS Poland. The main task was to replicate the solution working in Poland at the Ukrainian enterprise. Replication was performed by the specialists of the company with consulting support of colleagues from Poland. Also, all the necessary work on the localization of the system for the Ukrainian legislation was carried out.

A joint project with IFS C&EE (Poland). The company's specialists acted as task managers (writing functional specifications) and performed final testing of update packages.
Project Manager. IFS/HR Module 7.5 Localization (03/2008 – 11/2008)
A joint project with IFS C&EE (Poland). The company's specialists performed both task setting (description of algorithms for calculation of accruals and deductions, writing functional specifications, etc.) and programming and testing of modifications and reports. Configuration of payroll module in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation was carried out jointly with IFS C&EE.
Project Manager. IFS Applications implementation at NAK «Naftogaz» (Management «Ukravtogaz» SC «Ukrtransgaz»), Kyiv, Ukraine (11/2007 – 03/2010)
As a pilot project, it was decided to automate the management of the network of automobile gas-filling compressor stations of DC «Ukrtransgaz».
Organizational and geographical scope of the pilot project:
- 6 gas-filling stations of Kyiv region (Kyiv-1, Kyiv-2, Kyiv-3, Kyiv-4, Brovary-1 and Boryspil-1)
- Regional production management «KyivAutoGas»
- Ukrtransgas Management of «UkrAutoGas» Division
- Management of gas compressor stations «UkrTransGas»
The following business processes were automated: repair and modernization management of CNG stations network; creation of annual/monthly maintenance schedule; repair personnel load management; equipment maintenance cost analysis; spare parts and operating materials procurement management; spare parts and operating materials stock management; contract management and settlements with suppliers; payment schedule creation.
In the future, it is planned to replicate the solution to other divisions of the organization.
Project Manager. IFS Applications implementation at Kievmedpreparat, Kyiv, Ukraine (11/2006 – 04/2007)
Implementation of an integrated management system for a pharmaceutical company. The project was handed over to our firm during the Solution Implementation phase. The first two phases (Project Initialization and Solution Mapping) were previously performed by IFS C&EE. The following business processes have been automated: planning of sales, production and purchases; supplies; production; quality control; warehouse operations; sales; financial calculations with the contractors. Also under the project there was carried out integration with 1C system.

Implementation of financial and accounting in the enterprise. Localization of IFS Applications for Ukrainian legislation. Production costing (finished and semi-finished products).
There were also completed projects on implementation of CRM-module at Novy Style and B2B module at Kievmedpreparat.

The company is a software developer for medium and large enterprises. It is engaged in the development, implementation and maintenance of its own financial and accounting system in the enterprise. The company also developed a number of specialized applications.
Head of “Analytica” Department (01/2005 – 06/2006)
The Department included System Development and Application Development departments. The Systems Development Department developed and maintained the Analytica application development platform. The “Analytica” development platform allowed developing various applications using modern principles of building and developing applications based on model-driven architecture (MDA). This allowed to accelerate significantly the process of software development, as well as to simplify its maintenance. The following systems were developed on this platform in a short period of time: Accounting of finished products, Trade Enterprise Management, Accounting of services (billing).
