Working on a personal project

After finishing my studies as a Python Developer at GoIT School (Kyiv, 2025), I decided to create my own web application dedicated to varieties of African violets (saintpaulias). I worked as a full-stack developer on this project, taking the roles of project manager, architect, backend developer (Python/FastAPI), and frontend developer (React). I deployed the application, and it is available at https://saintpaulia.vercel.app/

When I find contributors who can help with variety descriptions, the service will grow to hundreds or even thousands of entries. I also designed the codebase so it can be easily extended with many future features — direct messages between users, public discussions, personal galleries, articles about plant care, pest treatment — and even support for other types of houseplants (streptocarpus, begonias, ficus, geraniums, etc.).

Additional information

My professional path combines three areas that are equally important to me: biology, laboratory work, and project organization — and now also software development. I have a strong academic background in biology and several years of hands-on experience in molecular diagnostics and research laboratories, where I became deeply familiar with scientific workflows, experimental accuracy, and quality standards.

During my time at Synevo Central Labs (later Medicover Integrated Clinical Services), I grew from a Clinical Research Coordinator to an Analytical Project Manager. This role developed my ability to organize complex processes, collaborate with international partners, supervise teams, and manage projects from planning to execution.

In recent years, I added a new skill set by becoming a Python Developer and applying it in real projects, including my own full-stack web application and an internship project I am currently working on. Software development gives me tools to build practical solutions for scientific and operational tasks.

This unique combination — deep biological knowledge, laboratory experience, strong organizational skills, and growing technical expertise — motivates me to work at the intersection of these fields. I am especially interested in roles where I can support scientific, medical, or analytical processes through technology and well-structured project execution.
