International retail company is searching for purchase manager in Lviv to provide merchandise for the own chain of supermarkets in France. Don’t miss your chance to join our team of professionals!

Job purpose:

  • Prospect markets to buy overstocks and unsold items at the best prices in order to sell them to international customers
  • Assess the ability of suppliers to meet the requirements of the cost, quality and quantity
  • Identify the decision makers of the potential suppliers, promoting innovative services to revalue their stocks (company will provide you with the appropriate training)
  • Ensure that the products are compliant to the quality standards and to the regulations of the target markets
  • Negotiate the best possible conditions (price, quantities, delays, transport, payment methods) taking into account the commercial objectives
  • Cooperate with support departments to place the orders with the best possible conditions for the company
  • Manage the claims and litigation with the customers and suppliers

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out the purchases according to the procedure
  • Develop and contact suppliers by phone, search for viable overstock for our client’s market
  • Evaluate overstock meets the pricing and quality of our requirements
  • Continuous monitoring of ongoing business affairs and current files
  • Reach monthly objectives (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Observance of the law, rules and schedules, work on the best interest of the company
  • Ensure purchases without litigations, according to the procedures and within the deadlines

Qualifications (education, experience, qualifications, availability, etc.):

  • Intermediate+ in English and fluent in local language (French will be an advantage)
  • Natural sense of Purchasing Management. Commercial minded
  • Experience of B2B sales (will be an advantage)
  • Good understanding of the retail market and closeout business model
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Be rigorous, diligent, organized and focused at all times and act in the interest of the company
  • Ability for analysis and synthesis
  • Professional discretion. Motivation. Dynamism
