A major international manufacturer of luxury cosmetics is looking for Retail & Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

Sales Management:

  • Implementation and achievement of net & retail sales plan by location and review with location manager;
  • Monitor results and take remedial action on an immediate and on going basis;
  • Work with Resident trainer and location managers, send Weekly and Monthly Reporting to National Sales Manager

Inventory Management:

  • Working with Lachen and business partners on getting the products into the country;
  • Continuously monitor stock levels;
  • Make recommendations regarding excess stock to National Sales Manager/Retail Partner
  • Ensure Monthly orders are managed in within guidelines provided by National Sales Manager

Merchandising:

  • Train Retail Manager to uphold merchandising expectations and develop standard of visual excellence.
  • Monitor merchandising by location to ensure adherence to standards.

Marketing:

  • Forecasting, Pricing, Marketing analysis
  • Ensure proper dates of marketing activity
  • Ensure all collateral/props used at counter are within guidelines provided by Marketing/Training Departments.
  • Train manager to assist with Event implementation.
  • Implement Events and advertising campaigns.

Human Resource Management

  • Recruit Retail Operations Managers, Retail Managers and assist with Retail Artist recruitment as required to meet;
  • Review, approve and conduct performance reviews for subordinate employees;
  • Conduct progressive discipline and terminations;

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Bachelor or higher degree.
  • Experience in Marketing — 5+
  • Previous experience in cosmetic field and retail.
  • Leadership, training, public speaking experience, analytical & computer skills needed.
  • Ability to coach people, council employee conflicts and to function in a fast paced environment.

  • English — intermediate
