Global English Centre is a leading organization who deliver the most effective and practical process of English learning through a full range of general, academic and exam preparation courses (TOEFL ibt, IELTS, Cambridge English Tests).

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced English language teacher for TOEFL, IELTS exam preparations and teaching general English.

Education: BA or MA in Linguistics, Education or Languages

TESOL, TEFL and CELTA would be a great benefit

Work Experience: 2−4 years at least.

Responsibilities:

Typical duties include:

• Organising and delivering classroom lectures to students.
• Evaluating a students' class work and assignments.
• Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
• Recording and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.
• Classroom management.
• Maintaining discipline in the classroom.
• Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.

Personal qualities required

• You must be a good communicator as you will be on many occasions communicating with students and also other teaching staff.
• Ability to work in stressful situations and under pressure.
• Good listening skills.
• Planning and organisational skills.
• Patience.
