•Part of the Executive Team, leading the company to achieve the corporate goals including the re-structuring of the regional operation.
•Led all the finance tasks for the regional operation (two factories and one trading company, >1,200 employees ):
oManaged and directed all aspects of the company Finance and Accounting functions (20 headcount), including the Corporate Controller group, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting and Forecasting, Sales Finance, BU Finance, Revenue Operations, Credit and Collections, Tax, Treasury, Enterprise Finance Systems, Credit Facilities and Risk Management.
oDirected the Corporate Controller function to ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other accounting/auditing standards.
oDealt with auditors, tax authorities, actuary, securities’ appraiser, banks and other financial institutions
oLed the preparation of financial reports and forecasts, including ratios, KPIs and other analytical procedures to be used by the board of directors, shareholders and lenders.
•Supervised, coordinated and appraised work of operational level staff ensuring that working objectives are efficiently achieved within the agreed time-scale.
•Performed review of the staff accountants’ completed work, conducted formal employee evaluations to identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
