Skills required :

• Proficiency in the implementation of algorithms and the use of advanced data structures to solve problems in computing. A solid knowledge in the principles of computer science is desired.

• Good experience on software design and architecture.

• Good experience in building complex and scalable solutions.

• Ability to find optimal solutions and innovative ideas.

• Excellent experience in C/C++, Linux/UNIX environment.

• Knowledge Openwrt

• Experience with Mediatek, Realtek, Broadcom and Qualcomm chipset and SDKs.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of OS and working experience on system programming (multi-threading, multi-processing, memory management)

• Troubleshoot any issues with existing features, live on production.

• Ability to write clean, modular, and loosely coupled code

• Ability to understand end-to-end product functionality.

•  Should be able to work hands-on and guide a team of mixed experience personals, in delivering quality s/w for the GPON, EPON and XGS-PON access products/solutions

• Deep knowledge on the OMCI protocol and handling of complex issues from variety of field installations is desired.

• Ability to use embedded software development tools including debuggers (gdb), protocol analyzers etc.

• Knowledge of passive optical networks (GPON/EPON/XGS-PON etc.) with hands-on experience on OLT-ONT data path/ control path configuration is important

• Layer 2/3 knowledge with hands-on experience with OSPF/ARP/RARP/Multicast/DHCP/VLAN/QoS/TR069/TR369 etc.

• Linux, Kernel, u-boot development, build root, device drivers, operating systems, data structures, thread programming, inter process communications, embedded databases, GDB debugging, git, Shell scripting, tunnelling concepts, IPSEC/GRE/L2TP/SSH.
