Novo Nordisk Ukraine is looking for a Tax adviser based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

About the department

Tax adviser will serve as tax specialist for Ukraine within finance function. You will be part of Ukraine finance and administration department, interacting with head of department and your colleagues in Ukraine and in Business Area Near East and CIS. Your daily work will be based in Kyiv, Ukraine, but you will be working closely with colleagues across the Business Area Near East and CIS region headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.You will be responsible for quarterly and annual company and local Ukrainian tax compliance.This includes responsibilities for all documentation and support and researching any relevant issues. Responsible for responding to related tax correspondence. Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related tax accounting.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Act as tax compliance responsible in LLC operations
  • SAP responsible for all tax transactions
  • Local VAT invoices (incoming and outgoing) maintenance in the state registry responsible
  • Prepare select Danish tax compliance reports relating to international affiliates
  • Prepare CPT and VAT returns according to the Tax Code of Ukraine
  • Prepare and submit other statutory reporting according to requirements — balance sheet, P&L, cash flow
  • Manage tax software and implement new features and updates, assist with the quarterly and annual provision process
  • Respond to related tax correspondence and research issues as they arise
  • Assist with and lead state audits as they arise
  • Assist in internal audits
  • Prepare Annual Tax Questionnaire
  • Monitor tax legislation, evaluate risks, implement changes and offer mitigating actions

Qualifications

  • Higher education in Finance/Bachelor Degree required;
  • 4+ years experience with domestic corporate tax filings.
  • PC skills required: extensive use of Microsoft Excel & Word and experience with tax software.
  • SAP knowledge will be a benefit
  • Must have good communication and writing skills to interact with various departments and with outside reporting jurisdictions
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
