CodePeople is a software development company based in Kiev, formed by two successful web entrepreneurs.

Our vision with CodePeople, is to create a new type of software development company built around the best web developers. CodePeople is focused on recruiting and developing strong competences in web technologies and popular scripting languages such as php to develop the best and most flexible web applications. We embrace open source. In many cases, the web applications that we develop will be commercially launched by partner companies, new start-ups or licensed to existing players in the market. Everyone who works at CodePeople is an owner in the company, and the company often owns equity (shares) in the projects that it develops. Some pure outsourcing projects are undertaken to capitalise on our skill sets, and challenge our developers to be creative in developing solutions for clients. We have an incentive to design and build web applications with great usability and high quality code. We always look for a way with clients to foster ownership by the CodePeople team - because we believe that people make smarter decisions when they have a sense of ownership in a project.
