Shortly about my responsibilities and role in KOSTAL:
- Design of plastic parts (injection molding) for automotive mechatronic switches.
- Product development from RFQ stage till start of production.
- Design according European standards in 3D/2D (in Catia V5), DFMEA (in Apis), tolerance calculations, preparing data for PCB design (cooperation with electronics engineer), cooperation with toolmaker and manufacture. Preparing BOM lists, tasks for FEM and optical simulation.
- All documentation, programs and communication with customers are in English.
