Job description
Position: Lead Generation Specialist (Conference and Summit Sales)
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to join our dynamic team at Vonlanthen group of Companies, a leading organizer of Conferences and Summits in Europe. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential leads for our business, contributing to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
Lead Identification and Prospecting:
- Identify and target potential leads through prospecting, list segmentation, and audience analysis.
- Set up, develop, and execute email marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive sales.
- Conduct targeted outreach to engage with potential leads and nurture relationships.
Client Engagement and Conversion:
- Communicate with participants, internal company resources, and sponsors as directed, professionally, efficiently, and on time.
- Negotiate pricing agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
- Close sales deals and achieve revenue targets consistently.
- Effectively handle inquiries and objections to drive conversions and secure delegate registrations.
Database Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads.
- Regularly update lead databases and track progress to ensure timely follow-up and engagement.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Work closely with the sales team to align lead-generation efforts with overall business goals.
- Provide insights and feedback to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Work in line with the conference department’s strategy whilst following policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- English (strongly required)
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, LinkedIn
- Proven experience in lead generation or sales, preferably in the events industry.
- Strong understanding of lead qualification and sales processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative sales strategies and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
