Claim specialist

Responsibilities:

• Handling in-house claims from initiation to closure.
• Processing insurance claims efficiently.
• Managing claim files and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Monitoring open claims and facilitating their resolution.
• Conducting follow-ups on pending claims to ensure timely action.
• Reviewing claims for accuracy and completeness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in handling claims, preferably in-house.
• Knowledge of insurance claim processing procedures.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and insurance agents.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to take responsibility and effectively resolve conflicts.
• Work hours 8am -5 pm Chicago time
