About the position
As the Influence Manager at Koscom Cable Inc. you will play a pivotal role in shaping our external communication strategies and enhancing our brand reputation. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR campaigns to effectively communicate our key messages to various stakeholders, including customers, media, investors, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities: Developing PR Strategies: Formulate strategic PR plans aligned with the company’s objectives and target audience to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and bloggers to involve the audience and as a result increase hiring of main employees-cable technicians in our market.
Press Releases and Content Creation: Create compelling press releases, articles, blog posts, and other content materials to communicate company news, product launches, and industry insights.
Crisis Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for managing crisis communication situations, providing timely responses and maintaining transparency to mitigate reputational risks.
Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels and keep employees informed about company developments.
Social Media Management: Oversee the company’s social media platforms, engaging with followers, monitoring conversations, and leveraging social media for PR purposes.
Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze PR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide regular reports to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience 3 years in PR in the USA, preferably in the telecommunications industry or a related field.
- Strong media relations skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute PR campaigns that align with business goals.
- Crisis management experience with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
