Coordinator at the Austrian Cultural Forum

Cultural Coordinator at the Austrian Cultural Forum Kyiv/Austrian Embassy Kyiv

The Austrian Cultural Forum Kyiv is the cultural institute of the Republic of Austria in Ukraine. The Cultural Forum promotes cultural workers and organises projects and events with the aim of intensifying dialogue and cooperation in the cultural and scientific fields between Austria and Ukraine. Special attention is paid to communicating Austria’s contemporary, creative culture.

The work will mainly comprise the following tasks:

• Conceptual design and organisational support of (evening) events and projects

• Examination, evaluation and administration of requests for support

• Networking with cultural professionals and cultural and scientific institutions in Austria and Germany

• Participation in cultural and scientific events and conferences

Applicants should fulfil the following requirement profile:

• Language skills: Very good knowledge (written and spoken) of Ukrainian and German. Good knowledge of English, very good knowledge of English advantageous.

• Completed university degree advantageous

• Work experience (including internships) in the fields of culture or journalism advantageous

• Interest in current political and cultural topics

• Ability to work in a team, friendly and confident demeanour

• Initiative, ability to work independently, very good organisational skills
