Job description
Candor Global Services is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join the US based Certitrec Group team.

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all IT projects, ensuring deadlines are met, identifying issues with current systems, and resolving them with the assistance of the team. Additionally, the IT Manager will be expected to jump in and provide support to the team when needed, especially during times of staff shortages or when specific skills are lacking.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent oral communication skills in English (written and oral)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT management, with a track record of successfully leading IT projects and teams.
- Strong technical skills across a range of IT areas, including network administration, system integration, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
- Understanding of web-based web applications, including CRM, ERP, websites with store and membership functions, and the common architecture of these systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Ability to work in US time zones Monday-Friday
Good to have:
- Knowledge of PHP Core Coding and Node JS
- Basic understanding of Web Design — HTML & CSS
- Basic understanding of MySQL
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to understand IT needs and priorities.
- Identify issues with current systems, processes, or infrastructure and develop solutions to address them.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of company systems.
- Manage the IT budget and resources effectively.
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex IT issues.
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and other departments within the company.
