Ukrainian Language Teacher

Pechersk School International is a leading international school in Kyiv, providing a high-quality education to students from diverse cultural backgrounds. We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Ukrainian Language and Culture Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that promote the Ukrainian language and culture
• Plan and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse group of students
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their language skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in school events and activities that promote Ukrainian language and culture

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Ukrainian Language, Education, or related field
• Previous experience teaching Ukrainian language to students of varying ages and backgrounds
• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian literature, history, and traditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• English language — at least intermediate level and ability to communicate with English-speaking faculty

Preferred

• A minimum of two years of full time classroom experience
• Experience teaching IB PYP or inquiry driven teaching and learning
