Head of launch and accounting (European Countries)

We are currently looking for a Head of launch and accounting (European Countries)

You are our candidate if:

• You have 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on international business and managing teams of 20+ people;
• You have experience building or scaling a Shared Service Center (SSC) and centralizing accounting functions;
• You possess in-depth knowledge of IFRS and practical experience in preparing consolidated reporting and IFRS adjustments;
• You have experience in ERP implementation or transformation, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics Axapta or Business Central;
• You have a proven track record of developing accounting policies and methodologies for multi-jurisdictional operations;
• You are an advanced Excel user (large data sets) and have a higher degree in Finance or Economics;
• Your English level is Intermediate or higher (both spoken and written);
• Experience in Big4 or auditing, and having an ACCA/DipIFR qualification, will be a significant advantage;
• You are a strategic leader with a «hands-on» approach, capable of managing change in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

• Building and developing the SSC: establishing and scaling a centralized accounting function for the international group, including launching accounting «from scratch» in new jurisdictions (Europe, USA, Canada, China);
• Managing the full accounting cycle: organizing and overseeing processes from primary documentation to consolidated management and IFRS reporting for all 20+ legal entities within the group;
• Standardization and Compliance: implementing unified accounting policies, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements across different countries, and supporting international audits;
• Organizing Fast Close: ensuring timely and high-quality monthly period closures and preparing IFRS adjustments;
• ERP Transformation: participating in the implementation and transition from Microsoft Dynamics to Business Central, defining business requirements, and optimizing systems;
• Leading a large team: managing an international team of up to 50 people, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation;
• Partner Management: coordinating and controlling the quality of work performed by external accounting service providers in various countries
