Supply Planner EMEA — Automotive Business
As a Supply Planner in the EMEA Automotive organization, you are responsible for securing product availability and optimizing inventory to serve both Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (VA) customers. You manage end-to-end supply—from factory finished goods to SKF stock and customer consignment—and ensure the reliable flow of both manufactured and traded products.
You play a critical role in service and inventory performance improvement, capacity planning, and active participation in the S&OP process to drive operational excellence and alignment across the supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure on-time product availability to meet OE and Aftermarket demand across multiple stocking points, including SKF warehouses and customer consignment.
- Translate the demand plan into supply plans for both internally produced and traded products, including inbound flow coordination and supplier follow-up.
- Maintain inventory replenishment orders and/or processes for assigned product assortments and various stocking locations across EMEA
- Continuously optimize system use and master data (e.g. DOH, SO99)
- Optimize end-to-end inventory performance—from factory finished goods to customer consignment stock—by identifying and implementing corrective actions.
- Align production and supply capacity with internal manufacturing plants to meet forecasted demand (OE, VA, other automotive regions, trading business), secure delivery performance and meet inventory targets
- Actively drive the Monthly S&OP Supply Planning (MSP) process with EMEA factories by preparing supply & capacity proposals, identifying risks and constraints, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the Weekly S&OE routines to address and resolve deviations from the approved supply plan in a fast, structured, and collaborative manner.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, customer orderbooks, and supply plans to maintain service level targets and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Drive continuous improvement of supply planning processes, tools, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to ensure supply chain alignment.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and projects focused on performance improvement, cost efficiency, or system enhancement.
- Provide planning expertise and support trainings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Supply Chain experience in the automotive sector (OE and/or Aftermarket) is highly valued.
- Experience with S099+, DOH, Power BI, and supply chain planning systems.
- Experience managing both internal and external (traded) product flows is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply and inventory planning, including customer consignment and factory coordination.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt plans based on changing conditions or constraints.
- High level of ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
