Job description

About the role:

We are Academy Smart, an IT company with Ukrainian roots. For 15 years, we have been successfully scaling our clients' businesses while maintaining a culture of genuine partnership and professional stability. We are currently looking for an HR Manager/HR People Partner who is ready to join our friendly team and take charge of the Employee Experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Support and improve processes including Onboarding, Retention, Performance Management & Evaluation, and Offboarding.
  • Professional Development: Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, organize training programs, and lead professional development initiatives.
  • Relationship Building: Build trusting relationships with teams, manage feedback loops, and maintain a positive microclimate.
  • Employer Branding: Participate in developing the Employer Brand, managing the corporate Instagram account, and creating a content plan.
  • HR Analytics & Administration: Work with the HRM system (Hurma), maintain the employee database, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Employee Engagement: Participate in planning and coordinating HR initiatives to increase engagement and enhance the overall Employee Experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1−3 years of proven experience as an HR Manager/HR People Partner in IT sphere
  • Process Expertise: Successful experience in creating, optimizing, or adapting HR processes (onboarding, performance management, training and development).
  • Tools: Proficiency with office and HR tools (Hurma, Google Workspace, Notion).
  • Language Skills: English level — Intermediate+.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to find win-win solutions, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Mindset: Ability to work autonomously while remaining an effective team player; high level of organization and attention to detail.
