Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of systems, networks, and servers, while proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Higher technical education
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Good English (intermediate level, written and spoken)

Technical Requirements:

• You must be experienced in the following technologies and methods:
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Experience with network management, firewalls, and security systems
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with the following systems: OTRS System, Jira
• Experience in administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, AD, DNS, DHCP
• Knowledge of Cisco (ASA, Switch), IP-telephony, Baramundi Management Center, PowerShell would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter (1st line support)
• Check the technical hardware, where appropriate, make appointments for maintenance work
• Prepare the workplace for new employees incl. installation of the new notebooks
• Maintenance and packet assembling from software
• Maintenance and monitoring of OS-deployment and patch rollout
• Check the employee hardware and software regarding of being up-to-date and recommend updates
• Knowledge about the implemented software on the employee computers
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support business needs
