Job description

Position: Reinsurance Business Development Consultant

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, brokerage, financial services, or B2B sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and market research skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English and Russian (mandatory). Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Insurance or reinsurance professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and business development activities when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Facultative and Treaty Reinsurance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, cedents, brokers, and international reinsurance markets.
  • Develop country-specific business development strategies based on market trends and client needs.
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reinsurance solutions to prospective clients.
  • Represent the company at insurance and reinsurance conferences, networking events, and industry meetings.
  • Promote the company’s international capabilities and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with technical and broking teams to ensure successful placement of reinsurance business.
  • Maintain high standards of client service and long-term relationship management.
  • Achieve individual business development targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth strategy.
