COO (Chief Operating Officer)/Assistant Manager at Brian Benjamin Academy About Brian Benjamin Academy (BBA)
Brian Benjamin Academy (formerly Innovate Eng) is a premium English language and professional communication school based in Lviv, Ukraine. We specialize in helping Ukrainian professionals, particularly in IT and outsourcing sectors, achieve top English proficiency and master high-impact communication skills such as public speaking, presentations, negotiations, and networking.
We have successfully trained over hundreds of professionals through tailored group and individual programs, corporate partnerships, and public speaking mastery courses. Our approach combines practical, results-oriented training with a strong emphasis on real-world application. We partner with leading Ukrainian companies and also deliver voluntary lectures at universities such as Lviv Polytechnic and Ivan Franko National University.
We are currently scaling: operating with dedicated teachers for small groups, implementing an AI-powered adaptive learning platform, and expanding our reach through organic growth on Instagram.
About the Founder & CEO
Brian Benjamin is a US-educated entrepreneur with extensive international experience in Asia and Ukraine. He has built the academy from the ground up into a respected institution focused on excellence, discipline, and measurable outcomes. Brian values order, direct communication, high standards, and long-term thinking. He is looking for a reliable, proactive COO to help professionalize operations and drive the next phase of growth.
We Are Looking For
Chief Operating Officer (COO) — Full-time position in Lviv
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the academy, including class scheduling, teacher coordination, student onboarding, and program delivery.
- Manage and develop our small but growing team of teachers and support staff.
- Implement efficient processes and systems to support scaling
- Handle client relations with corporate partners and individual students.
- Support the rollout of our new AI-powered adaptive learning platform and other growth initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics, ensure high-quality delivery, and maintain excellent standards across all programs.
- Take full ownership of operational decisions and report directly to the CEO.
Requirements:
- Based in Lviv (essential — this is not a remote position).
- Diligent, conscientious, and highly responsible — you take ownership and follow through on commitments.
- Experience managing teams and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions.
- Open to new ideas, adaptable, and excited to contribute to building a premium education brand.
- No other major commitments — we need someone fully focused on helping the academy grow.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication abilities.
- English proficiency at B2+ level is a strong advantage (we operate in an English-focused environment).
