The Road Service Specialist is responsible for coordinating emergency roadside assistance and maintenance support for company trucks and drivers. This role ensures that breakdowns, mechanical issues, tire failures, towing requests, and other road service events are handled efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to driver reports regarding breakdowns, mechanical failures, accidents, and roadside emergencies.
• Coordinate roadside assistance, towing services, tire replacements, repairs, and recovery operations.
• Communicate with repair facilities, vendors, towing companies, and service providers to obtain estimates and arrange repairs.
• Monitor repair progress and provide status updates to drivers and management.
• Negotiate repair and service costs when applicable.
• Verify invoices and supporting documentation for completed services.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, breakdowns, and service events.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance appointments when required.
• Assist drivers with after-hours operational support and emergency situations.
• Escalate critical issues that may impact customer service or operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with company maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English.
• Previous experience in trucking operations, fleet maintenance, dispatch, road service, or transportation support.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent requests.
