Governess, Family Assistant to Bucharest

We are looking for a governess with experience working in private households and with children

Location:Bucharest, Romania

Salary:

• 4000 EUR/month

Work schedule:

• 6/1 or accumulated days off
• 07:30—21:00
• 21 paid vacation days

Working conditions:

• 2 children — 11 and 14 years old
• accommodation in the house or separate housing within walking distance
• meals provided• official employment

Responsibilities:

• continuous work on developing the children’s potential
• encouraging and supporting natural curiosity
• assistance with the school program and homework
• childcare (for a live-in candidate)
• organizing extracurricular and weekend activities
• monitoring children’s nutrition and hygiene
• overseeing general household needs
• paying bills and organizing household matters
• coordinating household staff (driver, housekeeper, gardener, etc.)

Additional / interchangeable responsibilities:

• cooking
• supervising visits of service companies and contractors
• handling related organizational tasks

Requirements:

• work experience
• no bad habits (non-smoker)
• understanding of English or Romanian
• empathy and a positive attitude
• responsibility and reliability
• proactive approach and willingness to provide high-quality service
• honesty and integrity
• ability to work in a large household

Additional:

• preferably a valid Category B driver’s license
