Content Manager, Social Media Creator

FixMix LLC is a growing handyman company serving the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

We help homeowners with a wide range of home improvement and handyman services, including furniture assembly, TV mounting, picture hanging, drywall repair, painting, minor electrical work, and general home repairs.

Our goal is to consistently showcase real projects, build trust with potential customers, and maintain a strong, professional online presence.

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Content Manager to take ownership of our digital presence and help us share the work we do every day.

This is a long-term, part-time opportunity with room to grow as our company grows.

Your responsibilities

Social Media (Instagram & Facebook)

• Optimize company profiles.
• Develop a monthly content calendar.
• Create posts, Reels, Stories, and photo content.
• Adapt Instagram content for Facebook.
• Schedule and publish content.
• Write captions in English.
• Research content ideas relevant to the US home services market.

Google Business Profile

• Optimize our Google Business Profile.
• Publish weekly Google Business updates.
• Upload completed project photos.
• Keep business information accurate and up to date.

As the company grows, you’ll also help launch and manage Yelp, the company website, and other business profiles when needed.

Content Production

We provide a steady stream of real project photos, videos, and project details.

Your role is to transform them into engaging content, including:

• Reels
• Stories
• Carousels
• Photo posts

Prepare a simple monthly report including:

• Reach
• Engagement
• Best-performing content
• Recommendations for improvement

What we’re looking for

Required:

• Experience managing Instagram and Facebook.
• Experience creating short-form video content.
• Strong Canva skills.
• Strong CapCut skills.
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) for content planning, writing, image generation, and workflow automation.
• English level B1+ (written communication only).
• Strong visual taste and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Consistently meet deadlines.

Nice to have:

• Experience with home improvement, construction or real estate.
• Experience working with U.S. businesses.
• Google Business Profile.
• Meta Business Suite.

Compensation

• Remote, part-time.
• Flexible working hours.
• Starting budget: $250/month.

After the first 6 months we’ll review:

• Performance
• Workload
• Business growth
• Additional responsibilities

Compensation will grow together with the role.

Monthly KPIs

• 8−10 Instagram posts or Reels
• 30−40 Stories
• Facebook cross-posting
• 4−6 Google Business updates
• Regular photo uploads
• Keep all business profiles updated
• Monthly performance report
