Job Title: Group Financial Controller
A Swiss pharmaceutical company is seeking a Group Financial Controller to manage financial and tax reporting in Switzerland (via outsourced partners), coordinate the Ukrainian subsidiary, and oversee financial operations across regional representative offices (UZ, AZ, GE, TM).
Key Responsibilities
- Swiss Document Management & Primary Accounting: Processing, organizing, and systematic archiving of primary accounting documentation for the Swiss entity.
- Swiss Outsourcing & Audit Supervision: Managing and controlling the performance of the outsourced Swiss financial provider responsible for bookkeeping, tax filings (VAT/MWST, corporate tax), payroll, and coordinating/managing statutory audit processes.
- Regional Rep Offices Controlling (UZ, AZ, GE, TM):
o Managing payroll, bonuses, and staff expenses across regional offices.
o Budgeting, tracking, and post-analysis of promotional/marketing spend (Promotion OPEX).
o Evaluating unit profitability (P&L breakdown & ROI per region).
- COGS & Inventory Accounting: Product cost calculations, discount allocation, stock valuation, and turnover analysis for pharma goods.
- Consolidated Financial Modeling: Building rolling financial models (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual) in Excel & CRM (P&L, Cash Flow, budgeting, sales plan analysis).
- FEA & Legal Management: Managing Foreign Economic Activity agreements, handling claims, and controlling AR/AP.
- Ukrainian Subsidiary Alignment: Overseeing cross-border intercompany compliance with Ukrainian legislation.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Audit.
- Legal & Financial Oversight: Understanding of Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP FER, or EU IFRS rules. General knowledge of Ukrainian commercial legislation.
- Pharma Sector Background: Proven experience in pharma distribution, public/private tenders, and inventory costing.
- Language Skills: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English (B2+). German (B1-B2) is a strong advantage (for native Swiss document review and verification).
- Software & Tools: Advanced Excel mastery (multi-entity financial modeling, Pivot tables). Experience with CRM/ERP operational systems.
- Controlling & Legal Practice: Proven track record in supervising outsourced accounting partners, managing external audits, and handling FEA contracts.
