Electronics Technician

We’re looking for an Electronics Technician to join our Ukraine field team, supporting flight test. This role spans a wide range of experience levels — we’re open to both engineers and technicians — but the work itself is primarily hands-on integration rather than design: making sure aircraft electronics are correctly built, wired, and ready to fly. You’ll report to the Crew Chief and execute against established designs and procedures rather than make design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and terminate wiring harnesses connecting avionics, sensors, and onboard systems
• Perform electrical integration and bench-level troubleshooting to resolve issues discovered during build or test
• Support pre-flight electrical checks to confirm aircraft readiness
• Diagnose and resolve electrical/electronics issues in the field, working quickly under time pressure to keep test schedules on track
• Document build status, issues found, and work completed
• Flag recurring or systemic electrical issues to engineering, without owning the design fix directly
• Support radio/comms system integration and troubleshooting as needed

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with electrical/electronics assembly, wiring harnesses, connectors, and integration, and/or formal electrical/electronics engineering background
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues under field conditions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding field test environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation habits
• Ability to pass required security vetting

Nice to Have

• RF/communications systems experience — a significant plus
• Experience with UAVs, aircraft, or similar field-deployed electronic systems
• English speaking — not required, but helpful
